Henry was this young guy
Met this girl called Jane in the town
They fell in love in no time
Got engaged and built a new house
They lived in a dreamworld
Where no bad things ever happened
But the boy started to wonder
What it’s like out there so told her
I have to see the world outside
The way the moon comes up and the sun goes down
Let me go, I have to see
The way the leaves of trees go to brown from green
I have to hear the ocean’s murmur
Lions’ roar, the way thunders crash
I have to be the one who discovers
A brand new corner of this universe
Henry was a brave guy
Got his backpack left his hometown
Jane was sad but so proud
She supported him like no one
She daily got his letters
Read his stories from his new world
But each night tossed and tumbled
She remembered these words
I have to see the world outside
The way the moon comes up and the sun goes down
I have to go, I have to see
The way the leaves of trees go to brown from green
I have to hear the ocean’s murmur
Lions’ roar, the way thunders crash
I have to be the one who discovers
A brand new corner of this universe
Henry was this brave guy
Got his backpack left his hometown
Jane was sad but so proud
She supported him like no one
She daily got his letters
Read his stories from his new world
But each night tossed and tumbled
In her dreams he told her these words
I had to see the world outside
The way the moon comes up and the sun goes down
I had to go, I had to see
The way the leaves of trees go to brown from green
I had to hear the ocean’s murmur
Lions’ roar, the way thunders crash
But now I’ve see it all I realized that
You’re my center of this universe
I know I caused you so many sleepless nights
You were thinking all the time how you could change my mind
I was freezing cold just like a piece of ice
And I saw the desperation in your eyes
I wish I could have loved you
I wish I could have felt the same inside
But my heart belonged to somebody else
And you knew I was fighting with doubts
So thank you for the time you spent with me
Everything you’ve done to make it work, to make me see
The one thing that I already knew
It’s so hard to find someone like you
Heaven sent you to me from above
To help me to survive, to protect me from the harm
You offered me your love on a golden plate
But I had to refuse it, it was just too late
I wish I could have loved you
I wish I could have felt the same inside
But my heart belonged to somebody else
And you knew I was fighting with doubts
So thank you for the time you spent with me
Everything you’ve done to make it work, to make me see
The one thing that I already knew
It’s so hard to find someone like you
A girl came along
She gave me the greatest gift she ever could, my life
She helped me growing up holding my hand tight
When I got scared in the dark she turned up the light
A boy came along
He gave me the best thing I could ask for, his love
Consoled me when I cried saving me his life
In spite of my mistakes he’s been always by my side
People came along
They gave and they took away
They taught and they asked
Some promised but never stayed
They built and they ruined
But only for me to be strong
Caring angels
In human form
Some stay forever
Some will go
People came along
One of them offered me the key to find the light
Another one taught me some chords and made me laugh
But they somehow disappeared, I didn’t know why
More people came along
This girl gave me birthday cakes and her honest trust
This guy bought me a piano and he left so fast
And the man wearing an orange gown took care of the rest
People came along
They gave and they took away
They taught and they asked
Some promised but never stayed, no
They built and they ruined
But only for me to be strong
Caring angels
In human form
Some stay forever
Some will leave right when their mission is done
Caring angels
In human form of loving creatures from above
Some stay forever
Some will go
I found the way to choose the things to save
And lose the ones that I don’t need anymore
Don’t criticize the way I play the cards
With no strategy, this is how I will break free
The stake is high
But I go for luck
I’ve got no aces
But I sure have got the look
I’m wild and brave
Waiting for the river to see
If I can beat the world
With my straight
If I got a straight
I sighed and laid on my bed and prayed
The universe knows exactly what I need
I fall or rise, it no longer can be disguised
And I’ll take it all the way it was meant to be
I love when it’s shining
And I love when it’s dark
I love drums and violins
And I love it blunt and sharp
I love tea and coffee
I so love spring and fall
I love you when you’re smiling
And I love you when you’re not
I love hot cider at winter
I love cocktails on the beach
I love learning how to do stuff
And I love when I can teach
I love it so spicy
And I love it without salt
I love you when you’re here with me
And I love you when you’re not
I love watching you when you sleep and have a dream
I love when you’re watching me when you think I fell asleep
I love when you take a picture of my face
To put it in your wallet to be able to see it every day….when you’re away
Hi, little girl
Don’t turn away
Don’t hide that pretty face
Forget your yesterday
Now say good-bye and wave
And fly
Hi, little girl
Look into my eyes
You’ll see your reflection there
Just open up and trust
The one who knows you right
And smile
Life is a game
Play it like you
Never did before
Find a snow-white
Piece of paper
An empty canvas
Paint colors
You haven’t seen yet
And start to dance
Like nobody else
Release your mind
And your tears gonna
Fade away
Smile, little girl
And don’t be afraid
Hi, little girl
Don’t ever be hard on yourself
Live like an angel on Earth
No regrets
There’s nothing to lose d
Don’t forget
And I’ll guard your steps inside
You’ll be fine
Life is a game
Play it like you never did before Find a snow-white piece of paper, an empty canvas
Find your way out of this madness Paint colors of your desires Dreams you’re
yearning for And start to dance Like nobody else Release your mind and your tears
gonna fade away Smile, little girl Smile, little girl Smile little girl and don’t be afraid
Longing for a place
Where the sunrays wake me early morning
Trying to erase
The thoughts in my head that keep revolving
Close embrace
Warm sunrays
Longing for a place to go
When I am feeling low
Just a place to show
How to play a sunday kind of game
Each day and let it go
Let it go, let it go
Where the cobbles are olden
Shine invitingly golden
Where the horizon
Unfolds a new side of dawn
And it feels like a dream
Lingers frozen, everlastingly
Longing for a place to go
When I am feeling low
Just a place to show
How to play a sunday kind of game
Each day and let it go
Let it go, let it go
All the stars are like diamonds
In the bracelet of silence
The song of the blackbird
Brightens up the night world
Rising up to the sky
Windblown memories captured by the dark
Longing for a place
Where every day’s like sunday
Slowing down the pace
Ignoring inner fights
Warm sunrays
Slow sundays
You were standing there
Just how I remembered
Gazing at the silent sky
Close to You kingfishers fly
Be the sun for me
When I open the window
Be the candlelight at night
Watch over me when I sleep tight
Take me to a peaceful, silent place I’m meant to be
Show me how to use my wings and then just set me free
No matter how, we’ll be together
When I close my eyes I think of You with sweet surrender
Sensing the breeze You blow along the way I wander
All the things I see
Coming clear for me
Meditation Tree
And You’re standing there
I’ll always remember
Gazing at the silent sky
Close to You kingfishers fly
You’re the sun for me
When I open the window
You’re the candlelight at night
Taking care of me when I sleep tight
Take me to a peaceful, silent place I’m meant to be
Show me how to use my wings and then just set me free
No matter how, we’ll be together
When I close my eyes I think of You with sweet surrender
Sensing the breeze You blow along the way I wander
All the things I see
Coming clear for me
Meditation Tree
It was a stormy Wednesday
The wind was blowing all morning
Looking out of the window
The beach was deserted
With a yellow alert
But when it stopped raining
My mama stood up and said to me
“It stopped raining, so I am going out for a walk my dear”
I said “I think it’s too early,
It’s still pretty windy” but she couldn’t hear me
She put on her raincoat
And left in a hurry
But I started to worry
It’s been two hours
But she still has not come home to me
It’s been two hours
I started to wonder where she could be
I’m afraid my mama might have been blown away by the wind
The more I was thinking the more obvious it seemed
My mama’s got blown away by the wind
The more I was thinking the more obvious it seemed
I was looking for reasons
To explain her absence,
I felt so helpless
How will I find her?
Has she got lost? Or is she on the way home yet?
It’s been three hours
But she still has not come home to me
It’s been three hours
I wonder where she could be
I’m afraid my mama might have been blown away by the wind
The more I was thinking the more obvious it seemed
My mama’s got blown away by the wind
The more I was thinking the more obvious it seemed
I went up on the roof
With my binoculars, from there I might catch her
Sweeping along the shore
I still didn’t find her
So I looked up higher
There she is, flying!
But she didn’t look frightened at all
She kept laughing
Soaring with ease like a bird would do
Now I now my mama’s got really blown away by the wind
My mama’s got blown away by the wind
My mama’s got blown away by the wind
My mama’s got really blown away by the wind
Lying on the top of the car
Looking up to the sky late at night
Can you see the strings between the stars
Rainbow colored thin little ties
This world is not real at all
Tell me do you want to know what I see
When kissing with eyes closed
I see a pink liquid world around me
While everything else is paused
This world is not real at all
The happiness that you feel
Will be melted away by the break of the dawn
It’s going to disappear
Only one night up above
The balcony’s like a big ship on the ocean
Cruising through the night
I feel like I’m Kate and your’re Leo
With our arms spread wide
This world is not real at all
The happiness that you feel
Will be melted away by the break of the dawn
It’s going to disappear
Only one night up above
Only tonight
The sky opens up and shares its secret life
Oh, what a mesmerising sight
This world is not real at all
The happiness that you feel
Will be melted away by the break of the dawn
It’s going to disappear
This world is not real at all
The beautiful things you see
Will be melted away by the break of the dawn
They’re going to disappear
Shell in the sand
Carried ashore by the sea
Lies undisguised
Silently
Pure, shining bright
Mother of pearl, golden light
Trying to hide her beauty slumbering so peacefully
So fragile
Telling a secret story
On a mysterious way we don’t understand
Warmed up by the sunlight slowly
Turning her hidden tears into hope for something new
Forgets the memories left behind
And then at the end
Suddenly found by gentle hands
She starts to feel so warm inside
So this is what they call
Love
If I look around on a crowdy street
Most people passing by neither see nor hear
Keeping heads turned down, don’t seem to care at all
About the human beings surrounding so help them pay
A little bit of attention
Show a little bit of plain sympathy
Through the recognition that we’re one and we’ll always be
So clever it may seem building up a wall
Noone can cause harm or hurt us anymore
But not a ray of smile will come through the door
Of your fort so open up and try to pay
A little bit of attention
Show a little bit of plain sympathy
Through the recognition that we’re one and we’ll always be
Hold on just for a while
And you’ll start to feel the change
Of the life you live
To a better world
The way it was
Meant to be
It was meant to be free
Hold on just for a while
And you’ll start to feel the change
A little bit of attention
A little bit of plain sympathy
A little bit of compassion
A little bit of integrity
A little bit of acceptance
A little bit of generousity
A little bit of unselfishness
A little bit of sincerity
A little bit of devotion
A little bit of honesty
A little bit of openness
Of everything that love can be
Wide awake I’m trying to sleep
It’s almost half past two
I’m picturing you lying next to me
The house is so empty without you
I know you’re safe
I guess it’s just so hard to wait
In the morning I’m having my coffee
In the kitchen that we painted together
Ready to start another sad day
But suddenly I start to wonder
If you were here
And saw me with these tears and fear
You would say
Show me a smile
My heart is aching seeing you cry
You’re my shore
I’m your ocean I always come back for more
Every single evening that we spend apart
Gives me a hard time thinking
Am I strong enough without you
Or am I weak and something’s missing
Show me how to see
Who I always wanted to be
Show me a smile
Even when you’re far let me fly
You’re the wave
In my water you are a part of me
